The algology is the medical treatment and study of pain. Usually algologists are known as paind and palliative medicine specialists.

It is also a subspecialty of the anaesthesiology medical branch.

 

Its main objective is to control the chronic pain caused and not caused by cancer. It si recomended for back pain patients, neuropathiology paitients, herpes zoster, cancer, or any other sever pain condition.

A right pain treatment must include different treatment meathods and the intervetion of other medical specilaties.
